I design swimming pools, courtyards, landscape design, pool houses, changing rooms, building placements, basically dealing with your complete property. The showcase is a glimpse of my portfolio.
The initial on site meeting ideally should be with all parties involved, communication is the key, in this meeting I finalize design fee before any work begins. Once you are happy to proceed and after considerable talking, measuring and photographing I prepare a design concept, this involves preliminary drawings and sketches, good communication and several meetings to make sure I am on the right track, from there once everybody is happy I move into working drawings and complete all plans ready for construction. I travel throughout New Zealand and am happy to discuss fee structures and your project be it one small courtyard or a full property design. The earlier you get me involved the better.
Landscape architects and landscape designers generally provide the same kind of services. They conceptualize a task and develop their design ideas that are expected to be unique, one-of-a-kind designs, no matter the size of the landscaping project. They handle both residential and commercial projects.
Landscape contractors and pool builders are the ones that bring to reality the landscape designers creative ideas, so recommendation of the right contractor is very important. The initial on site meeting should be with the landscape designer to get planning underway.
